Many a lovely heirloom can be found and given a new twist. We routinely scour shops and estate sales for vintage heirlooms to reinvent and sell in our shop. We know the time and creativity required for the slower needle arts like embroidery, needlepoint, and cross stitch, and hate to see great work overlooked. Other times, you may have an item no longer suitable for its original purpose but you hate to let it go.

Joann was working on a bedroom rental for an airbnb. She had this wonderful tulip print on the wall and wanted a pillow that would further enhance this room. She had a vintage skirt she no longer wore but still loved so we added some retro fringe and made it into a statement lumbar! You can see many ideas for salvaging previously used and old items in her three books, with this one, ROCK YOUR RENTAL, being the latest.
